STATEMENT FROM CY VANCE ON STATE SENATE LEADERSHIP
"Like many New Yorkers who follow government and politics, I observed today's events in Albany with great dismay. To the outside observer, it seems that partisan jockeying may once again get in the way of real progress.
"As a supporter of important state legislative matters, including marriage equality and ethics reform, I sincerely hope that our leaders can find a way to work together to serve the people of New York, without regard to partisan politics."
