Teachers union UFT giving nod to Cy Vance in Manhattan DA race

Manhattan district attorney candidate Cy Vance Jr. will receive the endorsement of the United Federation of Teachers on Wednesday, the Daily News has learned.

Michael Mulgrew, the union's new president, called Vance a "leader with principles" and a "committed progressive."
